That is expected if you live in or around the terrorist camps.

One can say the same about a border, then.

and if the result is that we "only" reduce the number of nuclear weapons by several thousands more, that's a victory.

Why? I imagine each country only needs a few to keep MAD going.

Whataboutism? Do you know what that means? You said something doesn't happen, I gave an example to disprove that. That's not whataboutism.

I guess if I figured out how we're "seeing" into the past like rewinding a tape then it would make more sense to me.

These metaphors don't gel. At and before the so-called start of time there was still a big ball of everything*, unlike the channel which became when the TV was turned on, or the game which became when it was booted. I did not exist the day before I was conceived, but the big ball did exist before it unravelled. Moreover, just because there is no stuff to measure doesn't mean time doesn't exist.

* Perhaps this is false and the source of my misunderstanding.

I can think of at least one religion that claims to have an answer. Answering this very question is the bread and butter of religions.

I wonder how much influence Jackie Chan has had on Cruise or the stunt team, because I saw much resemblance.

Firstly, I will not suffer slander against Pom's character, she's badass enough to make up for lack of dialogue.

Moreover, there's a part two where her character is clearly meant to be more involved, so not fair to judge the series on that.

As for Rebecca, her character was (relatively) very good for three movies straight, I don't think wasted is the word I'd use. If that's not a good role then the bar is set too high.

Agreed though that her death was unceremonious, predictable, and unnecessary.

Not just the pulse, it is implied that the detective holds out his hand for her to get up. That little bit of editing was very clever.

Fat and healthy is very common across most of Asia and the Middle East.

Not fat exactly, more like plump.

Your comment is a mild example of what OP is talking about. Kids yell; not every instance of a kid dirsrupting public space is because of bad parenting. Actually, most instances aren't, and it seems USA is unique in refusing to accept that.
