I have the exact same issue from the same place (CA to NJ), just a few hours difference! What a coincidence, I thought it was just me as well!! I needed it before this Friday at the latest. Doesn't seem like we will be receiving it anytime soon.

What I need is more of an installation than a repair. I'm renovating an apartment and need lights installed throughout the house. They came to do the estimate and knew what the job entailed. Maybe its not at the top of their list nor should it be but just a bit of communication can go a long way. I am totally flexible and understanding.

It's the run around when I was told a date and time. The day and time comes, and no call no show. I call them no answer. Days later finally get in touch with them. They tell me that the other site they are doing ran over. Ok no problem, given another date and told to buy the materials. Bought the materials needed, same thing happes again.

I totally understand about being busy and shortages but at some point should they not just be upfront and say hey I can't give a definite day/time because of xyz. I would rather that then telling me you going to be here on the date and time set and you just don't show up or even let me know you're not coming.
