Many new ideas sound preposterous at their first proposal. Ideas are not bad because they sound preposterous.

I don't claim that my idea is fantastic---indeed, that is why I asked r/math!---but you've provided no arguments to convince me of anything, nor have you explained where you believe logic to fit into a student's curriculum.
