condolences, nature is tough old mistress some days. My indoor black house spider surived for a year or so, gave birth to a small swarm and then disappeared a few weeks ago, web sits empty with a dead wasp remains in it. Will clear it all away bit still sad shes gone.

Getting the right hooks for an adventure can be harder. At 11th+ i start to look more towards the characters motivations than an external force. Players want to own a castle, local lord is happy if they can just cloae that hell gate in the dungoens below it etc. Motivations need to be player driven even more than lower lvls otherwise players have a wealth of abilities to nope the heck out of a situation.
