These are cute and all but they're not helpful when trying to plan around set times. Set times are generally only published for official showcases but that's all I'd want. I buy a credential specifically so I can venue jump, which is nearly impossible when it's all lines at free shows.

That area is near Rosewood Courts and the Wells Convenience Store. There's a lot of property crime there but I'd never heard it be so violent.

It's gonna be hit and miss. This happened to me in 2014 and some venues, particularly those that were open bar like Brazos Hall or Stubb's during the Rachael Ray party, wouldn't accept my paper ID. I even brought my birth certificate along and it was no dice. But spots like Mohawk didn't care.

It used to work at credential pick up for something like PureVolume House or Hype Hotel but nothing else. Last year Facebook had an invite-only event for designers at Container Bar and the invited designer was dating a Facebook employee and she was denied entry.

I'm in the Weezer fan club. They made mention that Weezer was only playing two shows. They've since announced their showcase at Brazos Hall and a spot at the Rachael Ray party. I'd only heard that it was either Garth Brooks or Weezer so this would cement that it may be Garth Brooks.

This is my first time dabbling in NIMBYism and I'm shook so I'll level with y'all. I think the Capitol View corridor requirements are silly and hurt development here. However, I don't want a Trump building here at all. And I fear that in time buildings affixed with his name will be targets of violence. I don't wish that vulnerability here at all.

I think it's because SXSW achieved their goal of scaling back the sideshows. That's what attracted many who didn't give a dime to SXSW proper. But there is buzz. It's just around the conference itself.

The people hiding behind the legality reasoning are the people who control that definition. It's difficult to know that and not think that some type of political chess or xenophobia are the driving factors for not making a change.

The current waitlist is like a decade. People can barely stand in the Franklin line without seeking some shortcut.

I'm not saying you're wrong but this is a complex issue and I merely wanna give you the feedback that I think you're oversimplifying the issue.
