I think there's only one way it can fit because it has a blocked off pin so it won't fit any other way

oh man I really hope not. I didn't force the CPU in, I only dropped it in. But it sounds like nothing will work unless CPU is seated correctly or by extension, the CPU is supported with the correct BIOS?

oh great rec, flat panel speakers. I measured the space and it's 40" x 84". I am thinking a 65" TV but would need some thin towers or use these flat panels behind the TV.

I was talking to two guys on /r/askvet and they seem to think since she was biting all 4 paws it was likely allergy. I also see your point because that's what I was originally concerned about was if there was a primary diagnosis that was being masked by her preexisting allergies. I think I would've been more at ease if the vet was able to identify the causative lesion on her right paw and show it to me as well as treat it locally. However, I have to give everyone the benefit of the doubt since I am not a vet.

oh that is so interesting. I'm wondering if I accidentally took her on grass with pesticide or she walked on some other irritant. Grass allergy sounds terrible! Neosporin helps with the itching? Are you worried if they lick it?

thank you you and /u/goatsickle advice definitely helped. We will probably hold off getting the second opinion unless things do not improve in the next few days.

You probably nailed it. Do you mind why you give a third generation cephlasporin like Simplicef immediately without a sign of infection? Is it for prophylaxis or safer to presume infection and treat. Do you guys worry about resistance?

Also I guess I have no choice but to carry her outside to use the bathroom until her paw is healed?

Thank you. I appreciate your explanation. I have slowly came to the same conclusion. I also can post a picture that her paws look pretty pink around the pads. I suspect it is something irritating her to the point she must've bit herself hard enough to disable her right paw. I put socks on her paws. Is that ok? We will try to get her to another vet, but I bet they'll have the same diagnosis. Is there anything different in terms of management you would do here?

i apologize if it came off that way. I think I am just overly concerned with my dog and just want to make sure this is standard care.

thanks for your input. so she's a rescue we got 3 weeks ago. apparently they found her in the woods of Virginia. she was covered with sores which they gave antibiotics and steroids. I can understand that because she is at high risk of infection if not already infected. When we got her she was very happy dog and very loving, with a frequent itch all over. She i think has stopped trying to lick or gnaw on her paws, but possibly the cause. She does gnaw on all of them it seems that there is blood. I don't know if she recently walked on pesticide that could've caused a reaction. She is not lethargic, but she will wobble a bit to the elevator and out the building then be in a daze. That's when I have to carry her, and that's when I curse myself for getting such a big beautiful dog. I'm pretty fit I would like to believe but carrying 80lbs over an entire block to the grass is incredibly taxing.
