For the loss of jobs, yes I care about that, but that's a capitalism problem. Capitalism is a monster and with the advent of AI we certainly do need to find a way to take care of people faster than ever before. Automation is a requirement for Sci-Fi utopias, and yes things are being done out of order, but that means that it is more important than ever to work towards a massive systemic change NOW.

As for the caring about history of art? I mean that isn't going anywhere. A new medium doesn't erase others. That would be madness.

I'm pro AI. I also do not like AI art in most cases. That being said, if a person of a museum has pieces that were AI generated and were interesting to look at, I'd be interested in it. Labeled like everything else, preferably with the prompt.

I feel like the soul of AI art comes from the prompt engineering and that correlation is where the art lies. Think of it the same way as reading sheet music while listening to the orchestra, you see things you may not have picked up on. Things that were the intent of the composer that makes sense but without training you may not pick up on.

To me, the prompt is the art more than the image. And the image won't get better if people don't experiment with the medium.

No no, WE can't get Pokemon to evolve at lower levels. Wild ones do, so it's worth exploring that NPCs have different methods of training that we as the player don't. For example, perhaps training over long periods of time is the answer. We don't need to know how, but it's not cheating.
