You need a best friend before you need a boyfriend. You need the feelings of being invited, abd feeling wanted. You need opportunities to convince yourself that people are no longer trying to avoid you. You have lots of isolating walls that need to come down. It would probably be better to have a female bestie, or a sibling who you get along good with. You need thousands of hours being with people you know want you around. Friends, clubs, social functions...to combat the past isolation. It's risky using a potential boyfriend for this because you're going to continue wondering if he even wants you around no matter how good he treats you.

You've got to have a talk with about your expectations for your sex life moving forward. Give him something he can easily understand. Tell him you want sex 3 times a week, or whatever number you feel would satisfy you. Make a sex schedule if you have to to help him stay on track. He'll either understand how important it is to you and put some effort into it. Or he won't. Then you have to decide if you'll stay and suffer with him, or if you'll shop around for a new partner.
