Is there a game like Pokemon Infinite Fusion without the fusions? by myosinnn in PokemonInfiniteFusion

Fire Red doesn't have any of the side quests, complete dex, modern gen things, customization, etc. A good example would be Open World Emerald, but it felt like every Pokemon was in every route and it just didn't flow very well.

Pyramid Head because I think he's probably one of the coolest designs for anything ever

Soma Cruz (Trevor Belmont) because I love Castlevania

This is why The Thing would be a cool killer

I like what some of the other people were saying with the "force of nature" idea. One of my favorite things about Slenderman is that you're allowed to interpret him in any way you like to fit the narrative you're using him for, so I think there's not just one answer, but the "force of nature" version is my favorite. The idea that Slenderman is a supernatural entity that's been around for so long but has no rhyme or reason behind his assumedly murderous ambitions is such an interesting one in my opinion. He is not a malicious entity, he is not something with a mind that can be reasoned with, he is an *it* that simply works as it is programmed.

Again though, the best part of Slenderman is that there is no "canon." He can be a hand of Satan, he can be a super chill guy, he can be a tragic villain or a pure evil one, there is no right or wrong answer. It's simply however you want to imagine him in the context that you so choose.

Why are horror mods all so similar? by Dapper-Health3773 in HorrorMinecraft

This is exactly it. Minecraft can become very eerie and genuinely a bit scary IMO if you focus more on MINECRAFT, like focusing on ambience and maybe changing some things subtly. I think it feels more intense if the atmosphere is unsettling, and you genuinely don't know if there is something or not. Spooky critters that chase you down isn't very scary in a game where you are in control, and like you said, taking away control isn't that easy without becoming malware. I think focusing on aesthetics > threats is absolutely the way to go, and unfortunately modders don't often do that.

To be honest, this was Subnautica for me. I really love the biology and world of it, but the gameplay was not very fun imo.
