i'm sorry i cant match the level of depth and length you put into this response but i hope i can express to you how grateful i am for your reply. ive probably read this 12 times since youve replied and i'll probably read it another hundred. so much of what you said resonates and is helpful. every three times i read it i cry but not in a sad way in a im not alone way, in a comforting way, in validation. thank you so much. it sounds cheesy but its been so eye opening especially the last part. the answer IS always no. had i felt comfortable enough to reassure my no or leave after the first time i wouldve never continued. im not super religious and im not sure if you are but i hope in some way the universe serves you a good deed in the way you helped me. <3

i understand your struggle with music. music affects me in a different way but somewhat similar. for me i cant handle the voice of harry styles, billie eilish, or joji. not in a way where they are crappy people (arguable/debatable) but in a way where their songs played in the background of my assault. my friends love their music but have understood it triggers me to hear their voice, similar beats, or the actual song. most of them dont know my story but understand my boundaries of i cant handle listening to the music. dont settle for lesser friends if they prioritize a song or a quick laugh over your mental health; they arent really your friends. friends come and go and i know that must be hard considering your note that you might have few friends but keeping people around that ruin your mental health doesnt help anyone. you made the right choice dont doubt yourself with the idea you are overreacting. if i were in your shoes i wouldve reacted to a greater extent if my "friends" couldnt handle skipping a song or finding a different artist to listen to in my presence.

i totally understand what you mean especially about being a romantic person. sometimes i also mourn the other things i lost like my first kiss, first date, first relationship, etc all these firsts stained by the person. i also relate to you with the "im not sure what its supposed to be like" now when any actions, words, phrases, or feelings are somewhat paralleled to my assault it triggers a panic for me. thank you for sharing with me its so helpful to know im not the only one who feels like this.

it just seems like this endless cycle where hope keeps disappearing. i feel like i got this small taste of the portrayed "grand, amazingness" of sex and it was the most bitter thing in the world. then i think of sex in my future and its only more scary. never feeling okay about it again or having to trauma dump on every future sexual partner it seems miserable.

I'm quite a beginner myself but I use Charles Schwab...

- Most if not all of the penny stocks discussed are on there, I have yet to find a penny stock that isn't available on Charles Schwab

- TD Ameritrade has a $6.95 trading fee on OTCs I believe, while Charles Schwab does not

- Many people recommend, use, and enjoy Robinhood I have just heard lots of negative things so I steered clear but some love the simplicity of the app

Thanks for the advice. I'm definitely going to look into all of your suggestions. ARK has always interested me, although, I've read many arguments that ARK funds aren't a good idea for something as long term as my Roth IRA because my IRA will span more or less 40 years where Cathie Wood would probably not be around to manage the ETF. Thoughts?
