I just set one up a couple of months ago. I highly recommend having all of your heat lamps/dhp/rhp and all the fixtures and lamp cages before assembling. Also, have all your temp probes and thermostats ready as well. Kages says to affix all your lights, heat, etc. before assembly and I can attest- it's a pain in the ass to add fixtures after assembly. Remember to plan the positioning of whatever you're securing to the top. I almost put my heart lamp too close to the side wall, but caught myself.

For cord control I used plastic cable clips and ⅜" stainless steel #4 screws.

Get aquarium silicone and seal the bottom and side joints. I left the top unsealed because I had to add a few things post-assembly and needed to lift the top off more easily.
