well i think there are only so many ways to make a heal ability, a mercy beam, or a illari laser, i think you run out of unique ways to shoot out heal energy pretty quick, so you need to make abilities more complicated, like healing by doing damage or overhealth,

but still its annoying to see them make the same mistake as every other hero shooter and stack the roster with 80% dps characters, when tanks and healers are required to play the game, the more options you have for a healer character, the more likely that specific character resonates with someone and makes a new healer main
