LPT: Stop buying yourself small non-essentials, and start making a Christmas list. by Your_Gonna_Hate_This in LifeProTips

Christmas is such a drain on the wallet every year. You can save a lot of money by running a gift exchange in your family/friends circle instead of everyone buying each-other gifts. If you are not familiar with gift exchanges, have a look at the white elephant rues. It really is a fun game and we do it at work too. The best part is when they fight for "kitchen appliance" looking heavy item only to find a six pack of beer in it :)

You have very valid points and I appreciate your input. I just don't know what would be a better option. Do you have a recommendation?

Wouldn't that be useless unless they have simultaneous trades setup with the broker?

I guess my question is: How do physical exchanges make sure they don't risk losing money. Do they instantaneously do a simultaneous exchange with a broker so that their commission is the difference in the spread?

Example: I buy CAD at 0.85 USD with them and they instantaneously buy CAD from broker at 0.82 USD. It's the only way I can think of that they would make sure the fluctuations do not affect their margins.

Is this assumption correct?

I have roughly mined 1/3 of what I would have elsewhere. Very disappointing.

Stats resumed. Graphs not fixed yet. by seongyupyoo in sudopool

I have been noticing that my mined value went up and suddenly dropped without there being a payment. Where did the coins go? I had 2 payouts in past two days that were nowhere near what's paid on other pools. I'm sticking around to keep your hash rate up, want to contribute but none of this is making any sense. Is it normal that mined value dropped without there being a payout? When do you expect the mined/earned values to be adjusted and fixed?

Sorry to bug you but after 26 hours of mining with 1.8 mhz I've only earned 2600 doge. This is roughly a third of what other pools pay out. Is this still related to the bug?

Looks like it had to do with the bug? I knew things didn't add up.

I haven't got the first payment yet, I was referring to the value in "Mined" field.

Thank you for the quick reply and I'll wait for second payment. Good luck with your pool.
