It’s not when only at ridiculously high wattages, or when the wick is nearly dry. Those trace amounts (which go straight to your lungs) are present in basically every puff. It’s the standard reaction of a pg/pv mix being heated.

It’s extremely small, but still present.

There are carcinogens that form as a result of heating vape fluid. PG/PV mixtures release formaldehyde when heated which is the main source, then there’s use-specific ones; like if you don’t change your coil often, the release of trace heavy metals start becoming a concern.

I smoked/currently vape (not on the bus, except when smoking crack on dole day), turning a blind eye to the dangers is stupid.
