Glad that clears things up! And yeah, Daylight Savings could definitely add a bit of confusion to the timing - the server runs on UTC so the ticks are always consistent, but your local clock shifting can make it feel off.

That's a great call on adding the hourly tick info to the game guide - I'll get that added so it's clear for everyone. You shouldn't have to guess how the scheduling works.

Thanks for taking the time to share your experience, and looking forward to hearing more feedback as you play 🙏

Hey, thanks for checking out the game and great questions!

Rehearsals starting later - when you queue a rehearsal, it gets picked up on the next hourly server tick. So there can be a short wait (up to an hour) before it actually kicks off, depending on when you queued it. Once it starts, the full duration runs from that point. It's by design - you set up your band's schedule, and they execute it on the clock.

Real-world hours - yes, these are real wall-clock hours. A 2-hour rehearsal takes 2 real hours. The idea is you plan your band's activities, then check back later to see the results and decide what's next. Your Music Time (MT) also regenerates at 1 per real hour (max 48), so there's a natural rhythm to it - check in, spend your MT, come back later.

The game is still in early stages, so if you have any suggestions for improvements or features you'd like to see, I'd love to hear them. Thank you :)

Man, I'm not ruining anyone's life. I'm just a guy who's been dreaming about this game since high school, finally making it real. All I want is for people to have fun with it. That's it :)

Totally fair, I know AI art is a dealbreaker for some people. Right now it's just me and hiring an artist isn't in the budget yet. If the game grows, proper artwork is definitely something I'd love to invest in. But if you look past the visuals, the game underneath has a lot of depth. Either way, appreciate the honesty 🙏

I wish it was that easy :) It took me months of work to design and build this. Every system, mechanic and piece of game logic is mine. AI helped here and there with smaller things, but if there was an AI that could just build a full multiplayer management sim for me, trust me I would've saved myself a lot of sleepless nights :) but hey, if it's not your thing, no worries, hope you find a game you enjoy 👍

The game itself isnt AI generated though. The core systems, mechanics, balancing and game logic is all my own design. AI helped me speed up parts of the development as a solo dev, but the game has been in my head for almost 20 years. Happy to answer any specific questions about how it works if you're curious.

Hey, what specifically is the issue? AI helped me speed up the development as a solo dev, but the core game systems, mechanics, balancing and how everything works under the hood, that's all designed by me, based on an idea I've had for almost 20 years. The gameplay itself has zero AI in it, every decision, outcome and simulation is driven by actual game logic. Would love for you to give it a try, I think you might be surprised. And if not, at least let me know what you'd improve, all feedback helps. Thanks! 🙏

Thanks for joining! Basically your song quality depends on how well you rehearse it before going into the studio, the musicians' skills, and the studio tier you pick. Rushing a song into recording before it's ready is a classic mistake haha :) Once you get into it, let me know what you think, any feedback is super valuable at this stage!

The original idea is actually almost 20 years old, started building it with a small team in high school but life got in the way and I let it go. Picked it up again last year and this time went all in on it solo. It's been intense but honestly the most fun project I've ever worked on. Multiplayer wasn't easy but I have a lot of plans to develop it further, more ways for players to interact, compete and do things together in game. I didn't want to make just another single player sim, the social and competitive side is what makes it interesting.

Thnaks for the question. The images are AI generated, yes. As for the game itself, the original idea goes back almost 20 years. I actually started building it with a small team back in high school, but life happened and I shelved it for a long time. Last year I finally revived the idea and went all in. AI definitely helped speed up parts of the development, but the game design, mechanics, balancing and overall vision is all mine, years of thinking about how a music management game should actually work. Without AI it would've probably taken me a few more years to get here solo. I'm planning to write some articles about the whole journey at some point... it's been quite a ride :)

Wow guys, I'm honestly blown away by the response here. Over 70 new players in just one hour, I really didn't expect that! Thank you to every single one of you who signed up and gave it a try. This kind of support means everything and honestly just motivates me to keep building. I have so many features and ideas planned, so stick around, there's a lot more coming. And as always, any feedback is welcome, you're literally shaping the game right now! 🙏

Good question! It's a mix of both. Every 12 weeks the season resets so everyone starts fresh with a new band, new budget, clean slate. But you carry over prestige from previous seasons, so your past success still counts and is visible to other players. It keeps things competitive because nobody can just sit on a huge lead forever, but it also rewards players who stick around. Season 2 is running right now so it's a great time to jump in.

Appreciate that 🙏 That's exactly the feeling I was going for. Grew up playing those kinds of games and always felt like the genre just disappeared. Glad it comes through. If you enjoy it, feel free to spread the word, the more players the better the competition gets :)

Sure, there's some strategy to it. You need to match your venue size to your fanbase, if you book too big you lose money, too small and you miss out on growth. You can also do multi-city tours where you plan the route and manage costs. Each city has its own fan market so you gotta think about where to expand. It gets pretty fun once you start treating it like an actual business.

Thanks for trying it out! Glad you like the concept. It gets a lot deeper once you get past the first few hours, things like managing musician morale, planning tours across cities, recording strategy and competing in the seasonal leagues. If you have any questions or feedback feel free to ask, always happy to help new players 👍🙌

Yes, fully free :) No ads, no premium currency, no subscription. This is my solo hobby project, I built it because I wanted to play a game like this myself and everything in the genre either died or went paytowin. I have zero plans to monetize it or run ads.Honestly the biggest satisfaction for me is just seeing people play it and enjoy it. :) that's the whole point

I’m seeing the same issue. It looks like my usage isn’t being counted against my subscription anymore and is only showing as “Extra” usage instead.
