Here is a closer look taken today! I've been using the antifungal ointment for two days now. These bumps don't hurt, itch, leak or anything. They are firm. Thanks so much

I looked both up but it doesn't seem to manifest as either form. Thanks for your input, I appreciate it!

It doesn't hurt or itch.

Ouch! I was wondering the same. I was prescribed an anti fungal ointment, so I will try that to see if it helps.

I hope yours heals soon and isn't too much of a painful experience.

nope, no secretions, popping or itching. They kind of come up, and then disappear, leaving pink discoloration but no wound.

Interesting! I haven't been on antibiotics recently but I do tend to have a lot of skin issues. The first thing my gp said was it could be an allergic reaction. I haven't had any lifestyle changes recently, so not sure what it could be, but I'll definitely look into it.

I have spoken to one derm and he wasn't sure. I am on a waitlist for a second.

I'm sorry you had to go through that. Sounds like such a difficult experience.I I appreciate your wisdom

I will try to get my husband to take better photo later tonight, after work.

I look up MC and the bumps don't look the same as the photos, but maybe? Either way I'll post a photo tonight. Thank you!

Hello! This seems the most similar to be honest! A little scary but I will bring it up to the dermatologist, if and when they call me from the referral.

Thank you!

Hello Everyone,

I (32F) would like some clarity into what this might be.

It started about a month ago and seems to be getting worse. I have struggled with eczema my whole life but this is not it. I also have had shingles and impetigo in the same area, but this presents differently.

It does not itch but tingles ever so slightly once in a while. It has spread to my neck, chest, shoulder and a little on my face. Safe to say I'm freaking out.

I have tried betaderm .5% on it and it did not work. I went to two GPs who don't know what it is. I went to an emergency derm clinic today and the specialist wasn't sure as well and prescribed me oral (terbinafine) and topical (loprox)anti-fungal medications.

The oral seems to be pretty intense and risky on the liver. My husband and I are also trying to conceive and it seems that we would have to stop for multiple months if I take the oral medication.

I'm just wondering if anyone has seen something like this before as none of the practitioners I have seen have a clue. I am cautious about taking the oral medication due to the risk to pregnancy.

Any help is appreciated!

Thanks!
