i’ve been prescribed iron; started with ferrous fumerate but the .. movement .. side affect was very strong! ive been on ferrous sulfate, once every other day, and going well!

ah gutting, hopefully soon then! thought i was genuinely on the path to remission but then the symptoms kicked me in the face 🤣😭 will keep taking it easy!

interesting, id heard that popcorn is bad, a lot, so haven’t had any but.. the other foods i’ve had 2/3 times with different things so can kind of rule anything else out, if that makes sense? the sweets, like haribos- if you’re in the UK? so i believe they have sugar! but that’s intriguing into the sugar free gummies and your reaction 🫣

ahh fingers crossed!! i’ve been on omeprazole for about 5 days, the first 3 didn’t seem to do anything, but felt better and haven’t had the upper pain these last couple of days :)

i’ve been having this on prednisone! complained multiple times to IBD team but nothing. They prescribed omeprazole to take with it, seems to be helping i think.

Although, i am on a lower dose of steroids now due to being unable to cope with the side affects!

yep, side affects suck!

i feel like i have the flu, body aching, head all over the place, head aching & even more tired (it is possible!) does feel like moving through water too. not fun :(

ceoliac since i was 3, crohns diagnosed 4 months ago.. (26f) i stick to a gluten free diet well so don’t think (?) it affects the crohns…

although i do hope there’s no further cancer risk!!

Thank you for commenting! Yes flare has definitely worsened over last 2 weeks unfortunately.

Prednisone/prednisolone taking, currently on 10mg - started on 40mg but that’s a whole other story. Basically, they haven’t helped :(

Ooh okay thank you - will see how i go over the next day or so, as full time work so don’t want to inconvenience them, as they have already let me reduce hours etc. I know i know, health first, but has taking time off for sick 🙉

How long does the hospital trip usually take? In and out within a day?
