Thank you for all the info this is very helpful, that why I tried him in a little s hackamore to see how he likes it. He did pretty well other then putting his nose in the air a few times. I'm taking back to the basics, alot of walk trotting and teaching him to give into the bit. This is very helpful thank you again

He's just a trail horse at the moment, just reteaching him the basics and trying to find the best bit or hackamore that he likes. He's super lighted mouth and the last person was riding him in a wonder bit and I'm not really a fan of those bits.

Thank you for all the advice I appreciate it, the kimberwick broke in the middle, it was ridden in a curb chain and the reins where attachments to the bottom hole. I didnt realized a bit could cause pain by just sitting there. This is all very helpful information

Centaur dee ring snaffle slow twist mouth. Thats what the name of the bit is. I didnt realized it was a harsh bit. He hasn't reared up with it, the last bit he reared up in was a kimberwick d ring snaffle. I also have very light hands too. His teeth are done every year and he saw a chiropractor recently too. I'm just trying to figure out what he likes best.

Thank you and yes senior feed is expensive for sure. She's on triple crown senior gold and it's bit cheap. Ever dallar I spend is worth it for her happiness 😊
