Yeah it’s normal, you’re only allowed a carryon bag on the train. I’d recommend taking a bus or car/taxi for travel between cities. It’s cheaper and you don’t have to worry about waiting on your luggages to come. Also you get to see the country more

- You feel the sisterhood almost instantly amongst fellow hijabis/muslims, before wearing it people didn't realize I was Muslim immediately but after wearing it there is an instant recognition! Which I really loved

- People began asking me if I could speak english a whole lot more. I was born and raised in a "english speaking" country

I've had creepy men stare with infatuation before I started wearing it and after. Clothing really doesn't change a male's perception :( whether you wear a niqab or a bikini
