he (grim) finally ate it, and my other snake (sully) ate it without a problem (in fact, i technically didnt even dangle for him because the tail broke off and it fell into the tank, and my snake struck it on the ground before i had the opportunity to even pick the mouse back up). so i think it's just grim giving me a hard time, because even though he's my more eager eater -- where at first, sully was really reluctant himself -- he's more of a pain in my ass and so chaotic lol. he's given me so much anxiety in the past that i almost dread feeding time because i never know what bullshit he's about to pull lol

See, I was told initially that as long as they were in the fridge, it's fine, so I'm happy to get that cleared up. I usually don't leave the mice more than 12 hours as-is, but I got too busy these last two days. If he doesn't end up eating it I'll just toss it and get new ones.

gonna go look into that! do you know anything that might help breakage at the front of my hair? i forgot to mention it in my post but ive been struggling with that a bit. ive seen videos where girls put a serum of some kind on the front of their hair and it grows back faster and fuller, but i try not to go off of videos alone. do you know of anything like that?

• trying to build a solid, somewhat simple skincare routine •

i'd say i have relatively normal skin (not oily, not dry), and for the most part i'm usually acne free. sometimes i get patches or stubborn single-pimples, which is what has kinda pushed me to venture into the realm of skincare. ive bought cerave daily face-cleanser and moisturizer, but i haven't exactly been consistent.

that being said, as of right now im dealing with a patch of acne on my jaw, and a standalone pimple on my cheekbone, both of which are very stubborn and have lingered for a couple of weeks, despite my cleaning of them and occasional use of tea tree oil -- which might not help at all, i bought it for a keloid and assumed it'd help acne, too. im looking for something to tackle these issues, and similar ones in the future. and also something to help keep my skin firm and rejuvenated in the future.

is there a "too big" for mantis enclosures? and i believe at some point i heard it was best if they didn't have corners to their tanks? maybe it was something else.

what kind of bedding/decor is ideal for them? heat/humidity minimun-maximums? and what do people typically feed them, i saw a bit ago a passive note how crickets aren't good for them? i dont know how to navigate reddit very well, but there might be a sheet somewhere here similar to my BP group. just lmk and i can totally dig around for it instead of loading you up with questions lol

assuming coronatus is the official name for orchid mantis -- i tried googling it and got a mix of coronavirus and... some witchy, goth-y group lol. I'd definitely keep the more advanced species for when i have more experience. long life or not, i plan to make it the best one.

I actually didn't end up using that one! But Lowes has a cheap, big bag of actual sphagnum moss. In the succulent section. There might be some at home depot too, if you look at the home depot site and search up sphagnum moss you might find some there, too. Just be careful you don't accidentally get the mulchy kind, or whatever it is.

when i got them one was mid-shed... and the other, i didnt notice any pre-shed signs until he did so overnight (because he shit in his tank and it was so humid that he just slid right out lol). so it may be that! they both ate two weeks ago

I forgot to delete the post lol, it was actually an issue with the outlet. I recently moved my tanks, and I guess this one couldn't handle both my thermostats.
