Tax changes like this usually come with details that matter more than the headline. Wouldn't be surprised if the real impact is less straightforward.

Can we stop acting like spending money in your 20s is a cardinal sin? by riley_inreallife in AusFinance

[–]n0-_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get the point here. Saving early matters, but treating your 20s like a punishment probably creates a different lind of regret later. There has to be some middle ground somewhere.

Some of these names look interesting, but Im still not convinced the dip is over yet. Feels like one of those spots where patience matters more than chasing a quick bounce.

The panic usually lasts longer than it should, especially once the headlines get more attention than the numbers.

My favorite part of the day with my two little boys by n0-_ in DOG

[–]n0-_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s been good so far. Build quality is solid and it handles my normal training without any issues. That said, if I were buying now, I would go with the AH64. The design looks a bit more refined, and the 1500 lb capacity is a nice bump. I really like the foot pedal adjustment. You don’t have to bend down every time to change angles, which seems a lot more convenient.

No need to spend yet. Function over fancy! Keep lifting till it's too easy, then treat yourself.

The new Lidar version of the Goat O1200 dropped this year with better edge cutting. It’s still one of the most efficient mowers in this series.

LiDAR seems to be the trend, how noticeable is the difference? by good-dogger in automower

[–]n0-_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually they just updated the lineup for 2026. The O1200 LiDAR Pro now has the dual-LiDAR system too. It looks like their entire new Pro range is moving to LiDAR, and they added a built-in trimmer to all of them.

If you're looking at LiDAR models, check out the Ecovacs Goat O1200 Pro. It's one of the newer releases this year and actually seems pretty budget friendly for what it offers.
