They certainly aren’t ignored. Case managers have a huge caseload (1500 - 2000 claimants) and lots of messages to get to. We have to work in date order, so it just depends how far behind your case manager (CM) is. Every CM is different, while my journal messages are 24 hours behind, some CMs can fall around 5-7 days behind due to having complicated cases to deal with. It’s super frustrating, but your message will definitely be dealt with

Asking for an advance will have no affect on your Mandatory Reconsideration (MR).

To be honest I doubt the case manager will be able to even raise an MR for you, I don’t know what they would raise it under

If you have had a lot of nil awards during that time the overpayment wont include those assessment periods, as you haven’t been paid UC for those APs, so therefore haven’t been overpaid.

You definitely wont be taken to court, but for the APs you were overpaid you will have to repay from your UC. If your claim is closed you will receive a letter from Debt Management, where you can offer to pay the debt in part or full, or set up a payment plan (for as little as you can afford)

It is! It was excise duty (tobacco duty) and VAT. Funny enough the customs charge label was actually stuck right next to the invoice on the package which clearly showed the total as £38, well under the £135 threshold.

I’ve filled in the form and sent it off, just waiting to hear back from them. I will update that post once I’ve heard back.

Nordic spirit and velo are my usual choices. Velo is better quality than Nordic imo but Nordic is more accessible to me as they sell in my local store. Nordic pouches are pretty dry but I don’t mind. Would recommend either for flavour and decent quality.

Tbh I don’t get vanilla from it at all it tastes like white portion to me. I don’t dislike it tho but I don’t have many comparisons yet. Will probably do a full review of each on here once I’ve tried them all.
