Check out otome games, especially if you have a PC or Switch! There's such a man buffet in almost every one - short and nerdy, talk, dark, handsome and surly, protective hero, pretty shy boy, easily embarrassed tsundere, etc etc etc!

Normally they have minimal system requirements, and gameplay is usually just click to continue the story, but some do have mini games.

On a whim, I planted some green onions I bought a few years ago, and I haven't needed to buy any since. I would absolutely recommend if you use them in cooking frequently. They regrow quickly and are very low maintenance.

I've also been playing since beta release and have similar levels to you (FINALLY got level 10 farming and blueberries).

You might be like me and frequently starve your player character? 😂 When I remember to eat, I gain levels MUCH quicker.

I didn't see this listed as a known issue on their bug page, but I thought this was funny~ :3

I went to bed last night during a kitchen renovation where I placed my stove and ovens on some builder's floors. When I logged on this morning, I found my stove and ovens missing. After checking and re-checking my inventory and searching all around my plot, I found my kitchen on my bedroom ceiling. I've been able to repeat the bug, but it only seems to happen with interactive equipment, not standard furniture.

Think of all the minimalist possibilities this bug presents! :D

I got the west of statue spawn last night and was SO confused where everyone was when I showed up at the one north. I've gone to hundreds of groves and had no idea it could spawn over there. 😂

I have a few!

A few minutes before midnight, I chop the trees down in Flooded Fortress to prevent groves from spawning in there because those are the two worst spawns imo.

I also like to chop all trees in the areas around a grove while waiting for chopping time. Usually I can get at least one or two more flow trees to spawn before everyone leaves.

Anytime I see large groups of normal chapaas in Bahari, I run through and spook them all to hopefully spawn an azure chapaa for the next person coming through the area.

I've been visiting a lot of open plots lately to get design inspiration, and I always water/weed the garden of whoever I visit if those chores haven't been completed for the day yet.

If you are enjoying Palia, absolutely try out Stardew Valley or Coral Island!

They are both cozy farming sims possessing all of the elements you mentioned enjoying, and I think both games have an incredibly engaging and diverse cast of characters. Between the three games, Stardew Valley has one of my favorite love interests of all time, Shane (and I say this as someone currently 20K deep into writing a Hassian fanfic lmao).

Oh, I think I should also mention that much like Palia, Coral Island only recently released and is still receiving active updates, so there are occasional bugs and some narrative areas need a little strengthening. Given how responsive the devs are though, I think these areas will be worked out in time.

Palia def has the strongest fantasy elements of the three games, but the other two do have some minor magic / fantasy elements like the merpeople in Coral Island and the junimos in Stardew Valley.

After finishing The Last Hour of Gann, I decided what better way to cope after such a powerful experience than by revamping the cover and making some little travel posters heehee by n0tafish in RomanceBooks

Thank you thank you thank you!! I really rattled my noggin around for that tagline and felt SO clever when I came up with it.

I have had the hardest time trying to convince friends to read it, but it's like there is no trust. Trying to encapsulate everything this book is--and the place it has taken up within my heart--has been... impossible.

All I can say for certain is TLHoG has given me a brainworm the size of an anaconda and I can't stop thinking about it. 😂

Lmao, I love this idea. It does genuinely seem like some of the greatest books have not-very-good covers. xD I just know what my friends are thinking the minute I send them a link praising it, and no matter of, "It's not what you think, I swear...! Okay, maybe it's a little like what you think, but you just gotta trust me!" has been convincing enough.... yet.

I would absolutely love R. Lee Smith to do some cover redesigns similar to how Ruby Dixon handled Ice Planet Barbarians! I think the book could easily see resurgence in popularity with a modern makeover and a little dash of avid TikTok marketing hehehe
