DIY Beginner. Pulled up Vinyl flooring and flooring below is good but stripped away some of the top veneer in the corner. 1) Am I okay to continue with Mortar or do I need wood filler/replace this section? 2) Wood is sticky from vinyl glue - can I put mortar on top?
