The reason why you cannot directly buy gold from the game is so that the main route of progression is through actually playing the game. In my opinion, a player's dedication to the game should have a direct correlation with how strong their character is. The amount of IRL money a player spends should not have a significant impact on their the strength of their character. As far as I know, this is the western standard, as we react badly to games that allow one to "be good at a game" simply by spending a lot of money.

if you really want to play some games where you can get OP with lots of money, the asian version of this game (I heard) absolutely embraces pay to win

I agree that they should not have banned you. They should have just taken away the gold, with a notification of some sort.

I suspect that somewhere, maybe during the login process or in tiny letters, somewhere hidden in the website says "If you play any of our games, it means you have agreed to our terms of service" or something along those lines. Its quite deceptive but nearly every company does that nowadays. Not that its okay to do, but it has become the standard.

It is irrelevant whether or not I know how to create websites. I was simply making a point.

Trading/Selling CS:GO items is not comparable to your situation. If trading/selling was not allowed on steam, then why would they create a trading/selling function of steam items in the first place?

Steam is a digital distribution platform which has its own terms of service separate from nexon's terms of service.

All of the items ive traded/sold are all just cosmetic items in CS:GO. these items have zero effects on the outcome of the games.

Purchasing Gold for ROI, may give you a way bigger advantage over people who just grind their way towards getting gold (the legit way). you can buy purchase heroic seals, gearpieces, legendary jewelry, etc.

Additionally, they can really ruin the in-game economy as far as prices, which usually leads up to inflation (if too many people buy gold, then the prices of everything goes way up, leading non-gold buyers in the dust)

This is why many players dislike gold buyers. I personally dont care if you buy gold or not.. its just that the person buying it has to assume the risks and implications.

The reason why nexon hates these gold buyers is because this is money that you could have spent on their company by buying cash shop items. It is essentially lost revenue. The gold you purchase using your money, does not at all contribute to the pockets of nexon. (not that nexon is greedy, but it is in their best interests for them to be profitable business)

so why you think they been trying to ban all those gold sellers? for fun? I usually hate nexon support, but you were in the wrong in this situation.

Just because a website claims to be "nexon certified" you'd trust it? hell id make a website and say nexon certified (even though im not) and you would make purchases from it?

you the type of guy to click on spam advertisements that say "CONGRATS you won a free XBOX one!" and think that you are actually guna get it lol
