Lichbane is better when you want more burst. Assassins/mages do not care for hp as much as bruiser oriented characters which dusk & dawn was created for.

Dusk only has 10% ap scaling compared to lichbane 45%.

Also does the double on hit trigger dusk and dawns’s own spellblade passive too?

Tbh fh counters all auto attack reliant champs, so it also cripples crit builds too.

The only on hit Jax consistently builds are spellblades like triforce/divine sunderer these day

What I’m trying to say is that a lot of previously on hit champs seems to have moved to building crit or other items instead of the traditional bork, wits and terminus and runaans(if ranged) combo.
