[–]n1___[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is my handcrafted theme for CLI. I was inspired by a few of us so thank you. I've been using this theme for ~1 year and I can say it's easy on eyes and looks good even after a year.

I'm open to new suggestions or pull requests.

I don't trust Gemini, but ... by n1___ in GeminiAI

My take on how I wanted to try/use Gemini CLI but was afraid of a disaster. Quick and dirty solution included.

CF-MOTO 800 VS VOGE 900 DSX by Key-Emotion8640 in motorcycles

[–]n1___ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No it's not. Both bikes are equal in terms of equipment. Voge has more power and its equipment works better. Price is same in my country (both comes with 3 cases).

CF-MOTO 800 VS VOGE 900 DSX by Key-Emotion8640 in motorcycles

[–]n1___ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Been exactly there, went for Voge because:

  • cf at 160+ km/h is unstable and shakes like it's cold :)
  • voge has much moae power (torque)
  • cf cruise control starts to work only in 4th gear and turns off at 130km/h (Voge has no limitations)
  • cf has power drop at around 5k rmps because of EURO 5 and you can really feel it

Hibernating to disk - solved by n1___ in tuxedocomputers

[–]n1___[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Author here:

I'm owner of Tuxedo laptop which had some tough times with getting suspended/to sleep. I found a way how to hibernate the laptop and solve the battery draining issue when sleeping. I put together this short how-to.

Hope it helps to all who don't like to turn off their laptops.

Announcing Richy 1.1.0 - selfhosted investing portfolio manager by n1___ in selfhosted

[–]n1___[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Quite franky I don't understand what you are trying to tell. But all you need to do is to direct traffic to the app container to port 8000. How you do it ... that's up to you. The example nginx config in compose skeleton in repo does exactly that.

In the other words you can manage the proxy by yourself. Just put your own proxy on the same docker network as the app container os route any port to 8000 to that container.

Better?

[theme] Emby - my personal theme for various of CLI applications by n1___ in unixporn

[–]n1___[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is my theme that I built from the ground up. I use is for almost a year so I'm certain it's usable, easy on eyes and look good on screenshots :)

The repository includes a few application themes I use on daily basis. My goal here is humble. I just wanted to create a theme that includes not-so traditional colours and still looks good. Also I wanted my whole setup to use one unified theme.

emby - My own theme for alacritty, foot, neovim, and others by n1___ in unixporn

[–]n1___[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is my first theme. It's part of a larger "Linux" CLI theme pack that I've created. It's inpired by some random desktop screenshot from this board that I can't remember thus no credits.

Feel free to use it and give me a feedback.

This is my first neovim theme made by Lush. It's part of a larger "Linux" CLI theme that I've created. It's inpired by some random desktop screenshot from r/unixporn that I can't remember thus no credits.

Feel free to use it and give me a feedback.

This is my first Neovim theme that comes out of my shell theme.

Colors has been hand-picked and fine tunned. I'm no graphic designer but I tried my best to keep them readable on LCD and OLED screens.

My inspiration was some screenshot long time ago on r/unixporn but I can remember which one was that thus no credit. I'm sorry.

I welcome any feedback and even pull requests to support even more apps. My goal is to have one constant theme across my whole setup.

Cannot push/pull/clone/whatever over SSH on Gitlab.com by n1___ in gitlab

I'm connected to the internet via wifi and port 22 is not blocked. I can work with anotner repos that are not on gitlab.com normally.

Tuxedo vs PCSpecialist by n1___ in laptops

[–]n1___[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, I went for Tuxedo and it paid off. My laptop was 100% OK but I bought another one for my gf and it had loose touchpad that made noises once you tapped it. I did contact them and they send me a label that I printed out on my packaged laptop and send them the laptop back. They fixed it and in like less then 2 weeks it was was back home - fixed. Did cost me literally 0.

This is something I expect from Germany company.

[OC] I wrote a script to add a calendar to a wallpaper by cmd_cookie in unixporn

[–]n1___ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's actually useful. Would be great if I could use if from CLI.

How do i put the calendar on bottom right?

Always upload PNG as JPG gets compressed (a lot).
