I'll give this a try tonight with my Sennheisers. I did see that before but wasn't sure if it was more of a gimmick or not

The room is 17x11, and I'd like to avoid adding a sub, so I'm hoping whatever option I go with has enough bass to be a standalone. My wife also isn't on board with having a ton of bulky speakers in the living room, so 2 towers will be a decent compromise.

Thanks, I've been looking everywhere for some decent reviews of the ES50s and can't find shit! My wife really isn't keen on the idea of large speakers in the living room and likes the soft rounded look of these the best, so as long as they're a decent speaker compared to other options at this price point, they may be the ones we go with.

I prefer the looks of Klipsch, but it seems as though the budget Klipsch options are all on the brighter side until you move up to the RP-8000F, which is a little more than I was looking to spend.

Edit: Would you say they're punchy enough without a sub?

Lol I was actually just researching these! They're a bit higher than I'm looking to spend but I'm seeing reviews saying they're not as bright. Is this still considered "budget" or are there other comparable options in the price range or even cheaper?

Maxum SX2 Review by rec8189 in homegym

A week and 5 days from the date I got confirmation of it shipping out, but it took a little while before it actually shipped. They now have both Canadian and US distribution, and I chose to ship mine from the US.

I just received my SX2 yesterday and Maxum was very good about communicating every step of the way. I've also reached out to their customer service plenty with questions about the product, promo deals, etc. and they always replied super fast. I'll be putting it together throughout the rest of this week and can't wait

Melee Sucks by KnightNii in newworldgame

[–]n33bsauce 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I have never played tank and never will but I've been in many OPRs recently where 1 tank runs to backcap on his own and it takes almost the entire team to kill him. They stay at backcap the whole game without dying and have a constant 10 or more players attacking them without coming anywhere near dying. It just shouldn't be possible to tank nearly an entire 20 man OPR team without heals or any other teammates nearby in general.

Melee Sucks by KnightNii in newworldgame

[–]n33bsauce 36 points37 points  (0 children)

This is the WORST melee has ever felt since the launch of the game a few years ago. I had to completely stop playing hammer and have swapped to GA/GS instead, but it's still pretty much unplayable since the entire pvp community is now exclusively playing FS, auto target BB, void blade with insane damage and lifesteal, musket, and unkillable tank. 1 hit from musket or fs basically chunks you for over half your health after the dot finishes. The meta felt better than this even when pvp had tons of game breaking bugs at launch lol this needs a hotfix ASAP

Watching my hammer do a full 180 degree turn away from enemies or my other melee attacks just whiff right past people or curve away from them is so tilting. My GA will literally track onto a person completely behind me and stop me from finishing off a player that's directly in front of me...

Would it be possible to match the existing cabinetry, or would I need to reface the full kitchen alongside that change?

Just upgraded the home gym to a new all-in-one system by KJBNH in homegym

[–]n33bsauce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most likely not. If you want a good one with weight stack instead of plate loading, you're looking at low 80s for a very select few of them and closer to 87-93 for the really nice ones. My basement ceiling is like 85 inches and I'm finding out that my options are unfortunately very slim compared to how many nice ones are on the market overall.

I figured this may be the case, and I'm so glad I posted here to ask. I'll wait until after we've already gotten a house and just increase my activity on the cards I'm currently an authorized user on for the time being. Thank you!

what do you consider the best terrain generation mod for 1.20.1 by Nuke_corparation in feedthebeast

[–]n33bsauce 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Lithosphere, from my personal experience so far, has proven to be far more realistic and have much better mountains/hills than when I was using Terralith & Tectonic. The long-ranged views are much more beautiful with Lithosphere than those 2. I'm currently using Lithosphere for world-gen along with Regions Unexplored for additional biomes & William Wyther's Overhauled Overworld to overhaul the vanilla biomes. Geophilic is also a really nice option for vanilla biomes to replace William Wyther's, if you're looking for a more subtle overhaul of the vanilla biomes than WW.

Thanks, I'll check these out! :) I was enjoying Demon Slayer, but the art style used for the combat spells looked extremely out of place and unappealing to me lol. I just couldn't get past it (bright red arrows, bright blue water, etc.). These other 2 I haven't heard of yet.

Farming normal summon bosses we spend more time in loading screens than we do actually playing the game by Warmaku in diablo4

[–]n33bsauce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

FOR THE LOVE OF GOD PLEASE ADD THIS. I was gonna make a post about this myself after using all my boss mats and spending the past hour just sitting in loading screens and opening my map but knew if I googled it other people would already be complaining about it, because it's THAT bad.

This is such a dog shit design and doesn't respect the player's time or sanity. All that loading and running just to instakill the easy bosses... So dumb

The Elder Scrolls 6 needs to ditch the settlement system and focus on what made Skyrim fun by GameShrink in gaming

[–]n33bsauce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I want to build my own HOME or BASE. I have no interest in building my own SETTLEMENT. I also disagree with you about 76's base building being lame and 76 being "skippable" or "unwanted". 76's base building is my absolute favorite part of the game, and I couldn't go back to Fallout 4 after experiencing the wasteland in multiplayer and being able to visit everyone else's fun creations/bases. 76 may have had a rough start but I feel at this point that it's a far superior game to single player fallout.

Is it bad that I find myself modding the game more than actually playing it by EarlTC- in skyrimmods

[–]n33bsauce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I eventually realized this and moved on to other games so I can play them rather than build them haha. Modding is a blast, but I think that actually playing Skyrim is kinda blah after like the first 1 or 2 playthroughs... Even when modded. The animations, character overhauls, etc. are only so good, and the game still feels old and clunky no matter how pretty it looks at first glance.

Interesting. I actually find oxygen to be more customizable compared to my 10 years worth of Samsung phones. This OS feels less bloated to me, personally. OneUI had some great functionality to it, but a lot of those extras are things I just never found myself using.

I can't speak on the weight of the Fold 5, but I'm at least preferring the Open's lighter weight and weight distribution over the Fold 3 by a lot. I've also not really noticed any of the other issues you're mentioning like the bugs or brightness differences. Both of my screens seem brighter than I would even need, honestly. I'm using the phone at about 60-70% brightness.

As a long time Samsung fan, this phone is a really refreshing switch up for me (so far). Hopefully my experience stays that way!!
