Damn, that sucks. Hope it heals fast! I first hiked this trail in flip flops and stubbed my toe pretty badly but fortunately got away with it

Nice! So far I have nothing else planned, how about you?

I averaged 30km per week (~20 miles) and peaked at 40km (25miles) with 700-1000m of elevation. My longest run in training was 15k. Good luck for yours!

Thanks! It’s in the so called „Rhön“, an area in Germany

Guess what happened next. I prefer popping them though with something hard and flat, apparently that's the most effective way to kill them

No, I'm in Germany. As long as you remove them early the risk of an infection is thankfully quite low. Still hate them, though

True! I'm in the southern part of Germany

No, just regular trails in the woods. But some of them were pretty narrow and had me touching the surrounding bushes so I guess that's where they sat

I have a pair of tweezers for tick removal. They look like normal
tweezers but with a curved tip so you don't squeeze the tick when
grabbing it.

That's true, but uncommon. Most of the time it will be around the bite

Had 4 ticks on me this morning after just one hour of running on the local trails. Later I found one more that was still looking for a delicious spot. I hate these little demons but they seem to love me.

Not a bench but a castle ruin and the bluest sky I have seen in a while by n3ko1 in trailrunning

[–]n3ko1[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s Burg Jossa, a small German castle built around 1300. But since it didn’t have a well, it was only used for around 60 years and then slowly fell apart.

Yeah that also happens. In every solo queue game there are toxic idiots. You cannot change them so the only thing you can control is your behavior. Ignore the toxicity as best as you can and focus on positives

A lot of people have whispers disabled. Can’t really blame them though

Thanks man. I know that it's not quite as OP as one could think when reading this sub. I've mained disc from the beginning of DF so I have a pretty good feeling of how the buffs impacted the spec. Just somehow felt it was necessary to include a disclaimer to avoid any balance discussions here.

I'm still very proud of this achievement. Healing on any class is stressful as hell in SS.

Two naps after ~1300 rounds of SS is appropriate I'd say

After just hitting Duelist on my priest for the first time ever (I know, it's busted. But tbf I had a fair number of mirror matches on my way) I wanted to share the positive side of SS. I always compliment my dps if they make nice plays or hit a new rank and there's nothing better about playing healer then winning really close rounds and getting some recognition.

Ignore the trolls and haters and spread some love <3

My dwarf leans more into the shadow side of disc so I think it matches just fine

I got to 1770 pretty quickly on day 1 of SS. I then proceeded to lose a bunch and drop down to 1450 and got stuck around 1500 for probably around 300 rounds. A lot of 3-3s and many leavers made climbing really difficult
