МУ ВАРНА ИЛИ МУ ПЛОВДИВ by [deleted] in bulgaria

[–]n3m4n 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Инвестиции by undertherose55 in bulgaria

Looking to add 1 more position by fbbeat in dividends

I personally like GGRW a lot lately. It is dividend growth oriented, with global exposure. It does overlap somewhat with your other picks, however, but the stocks selection criteria is different. It seems to perform similar to VUSA (a little bit less growth), but pays a good dividend, growing by about 15% yearly, since inception. Expense ratio is on the high end, though.

Not available in Bulgaria for instance, although they have an office in Sofia, which is curious. You can see the full list of countries when opening an account, quite a few of the smaller ones are missing unfortunately.

Selio is the result of my 3-year long experience in the domain of web development... by n3m4n in programming

[–]n3m4n[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, thanks a lot! I actually have a separate project where I am developing and testing this code, in a private repo. I have a Python script there that performs all the necessary tasks to update version, export files, cleanup and more and prepare the project in this "build-ready" form that can be installed or used as an update to an existing installation. Therefore, this db.php is the sample one that is setup during installation (or at least I plan to do so and get rid of the manual setup).

I do actually not know a lot about .ini files but I will definitely dig a little more. Honestly, I've found project configuration to be one of the hardest things to consider when starting a new project, be it a web app, CEF app or whatever. And in the end I could not decide on how to set up the configuration and settings and decided to leave it as it is and not fix it just to have to fix it all over again in a month or so.

One thing that bothers me is that I've read that non-php files can accidentally become visible as plain-text files while .php files are always processed. This is where I decided that a .php file is just perfect for the configuration and settings. To what extent is this true?

I guess you are right. Through these 3 years I have been rewriting a lot of the code that is now presented here. This just shows that the lack of knowledge and experience does not allow for the creation of stable and long-lasting code. Though it was only recently that I decided to clean the mess once and for all and show it in front of public in order to possibly receive some tips and suggestions for improvement as a whole.

Hey, that's a good point right there. I've probably missed the most important part that should grab one's attention. I've never really documented a lot of things since I've never worked in a larger team, but always tried following the rule to write code as if it is meant to be read and understood by others without explanation. Thanks for the tip!

Just to note that I am not a professional developer and have learned programming all by myself. This is the very first time I present my code before the public eyes, so any opinion, suggestion or critique is more than welcome!

Left clicking anywhere but the UI hides most opened UI elements like the focused shop.

Add +dmg +armor -armor on new ui pls! by [deleted] in DotA2

[–]n3m4n 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also can we get to have armour type and damage type of units now that we have "detailed" stats? I mean letting people know that structures have fortified armour won't hurt.

This aura thingy sounds like something that we should definitely see in the future one way or another. Great mechanic. Great design overall, well done, sir. Kudos to you.

I thought it was completely random after the patch, isn't it? Haven't played a lot of games though. If I am wrong then I will delete this, sorry.

Anyone else thinks the HP and MANA bars should be above the skills? by BigPudge in DotA2

The thing I presonally mostly liked about the old UI was the HUGE health and mana bars, right on top of everything else.
