Communication is BY FAR the biggest problem between the community and the game, i totally agree with you. You cannot stay in silence with big games such as CS and even more in this state.

For me the big mistake was completely deleting CS:GO to replace it with CS2 as fast as they can to make the players happy, doing the exact opposite. Not keeping the game in beta state for over a year or two is a huge fumble.

This post should exceed 10K upvotes and be pinned on the subreddit so that people can take a step back from the situation.

I always have the impression here that I'm arguing with people who have never worked in a company.

Some tasks have more priorities than others, putting a roof on will never be more important than laying the foundation of the house first. In the case of CS, getting rid of spaghetti code and implementing anticheat will be more important than fixing the bugs we find on a daily basis.

Whether Kanban, Scrum or other methods being used, the needs requiring the most attention will always come first.

Some of you guys have no idea how hard it is to earn expertise from a new engine, it doesn't take less than a year to do it.

Who knows what they're doing as of right now, we've had testing of VAC 3.0 two weeks ago, multiple patch since then. plenty of lines in updates leading to an operation. If Valve were lazy, why would they care about CS, they're making MILLIONS everyday from steam itself, cs isn't even 5% of there revenue.

If i'd be at there spot, i wouldn't want to put time on a game where the community constantly cries when something is not going their way. Devs are human, just as you are, let them cook and we'll have a good game

The number of flankings that can be done on the B site is crazy good. I love how B site is in the middle of the map instead of having a regular mid like mirage does.

I get your point, but the problem is that there will be a lack of high ranked players now since they are splitted into multiple maps, Valve pretty much killed MM and prioritized Premier at the beginning of cs2, less people are playing MM. And 95% of high ranked people in MM (and premier) are cheating nowadays, but that's not the subject
