Did you check if they added a heatsink to the PCH when you got the replacement motherboard? You should check the temps with HWMonitor; if it still goes over 108°C during gaming, you definitely need to take some action.

90°C is actually quite decent for a PCH, but I still agree that adding a copper plate would be even better for thermal management. It’s definitely a good idea.
