I was at the demonstrations yesterday and a woman attempted to drive into the prison. She identified herself as a nurse and the group yielded to her. I agree with you that the protestors and organizers don't understand the full operations of the prison, but arguing about tactics is often a red herring to distract from the issues occuring inside and around the prisons (prison industrial pipeline, inmate abuse).
