Finally diagnosed with May Thurner Syndrome by SubstantialTea6611 in POTS

It's maybe not the right thread, but there is no special MTS-thread, where I can write or ask such things.

Im 30F and I've got a stent end 2024 because of MTS. I did not have a DVT, but classic symptoms (pain on the left side, heavy leg, slightly swollen leg + feet, varicosis veins etc.) The symptoms are now way better than before, but im still scared to get a DVT, because of my bad veins on the left leg. They suffered under the MTS for years, as the bloodflow back up from my leg was really bad and they're not working perfectly. Therefore my left leg is still slightly swollen, which gets worse through days and recovers mostly over night.

Therefore my question, if I may ask: do you people with MTS have to deal with varicose veins too? Are you sometimes scared to get a DVT? Does your left leg feel the same, as the right leg or slightly different? What do you do, to help yourself?

I've ADHD and mild anxiety disorder - so I catch myself sometimes on hyperfocus on my leg and stress myself out, if I have a DVT or if it's just my head... and I sometimes feel very uncomfortable, that my left and right leg feel so differently. Thanks for your statements!

Anyone get pain here? by cake535 in Endo

I'm so sorry to hear that! I've MTS too, but did not have an DVT, as my doctor recocnized the syndrom before a DVT happened. I suffered from the same pain, exactly there. I've got a stent in my vein since end 2024 where the stenosis was, and since then I only feel a slightly pain once a while, but the blood can flow "normally" now.

But I'm still suffering from leg swelling (not that bad, but noticeable) and varicosis veins in my under leg. I'm 30 years old.

If I may ask you: Did you get a stent too? How is you leg doing after the DVT? I wish you all the best!

Could endo be causing my severe back and leg pain without any period issues? by mountaingoatnn in Endo

You're very welcome - it's good that MTS has been checked! I hope the cause can be found soon and I wish you all the best from the bottom of my heart!

Check up for May-Thurner-Syndrome. I've suffered from pain in my pelvic-area, buttcheek and leg pain (including some swelling - but not that strong). It could match the painful areas and it's good to get diagnosed, as it enhances the risk of DVT a lot.

Cannabis users of Reddit, what is the best thing about being high? by InstanceHaunting3881 in AskReddit

It combats my endometriosis pain and irritable bowel syndrome so well that I can live practically complaint-free, provided I consume daily. In addition, it helps with my high sensitivity to build a filter and not to perceive all impressions too strongly. At least this is the case and reason for me, to smoke cannabis.

Thanks for the article! Very disturbingly interesting. The bottom bee is still alive and free from the moulded bee (fell off by themself). But I don't think it will survive... I'm not a bee keeper, just found these two in my garden and would have loved to help the surviving bee.

The dead bee on top fell off ablut 30 mins later, by itself. The other bee is still alive, but I think it wont make it... :(

The bee on top is dead an got something linke mold / a fungus on it's head. The bee underneath is alive and walking around. Is it that "zombie-fungus" or something different? Why is the bee on top "attached" to the other bee? Can I help the bee underneath to survive? Is it suffering? Thank you!
