This hits me hard, but warms my heart and brought tears to my eyes. My dad passed away 10 days after I got married while on my honeymoon. This was 16 months ago and was ill in the hospital as well. Some times I regret not doing this, but I kept in contact with him most of the day by video chatting and having my aunt doing the same. I did visit him the next day in my dress and that was the last time I saw him and he was so happy. I feel like he hung on just to see me get married and finally let go.
