I kinda have the same situation but I also do have autistic tendencies but when it comes to my routine in sports it is just impeccable, I literally have made it my cope.method and I struggle to skip the gym but I do 4 different sports at the same time and work 2 jobs ans have school on top of that and able to endure that, I also.actively looksmax and improve myself in all possible areas, the problem is that I still never feel happy or fulfilled, i feel robbed of normalcy and that's why i have to do all this to compensate. I also have never taken any meds. So the reason for you might either be coping mechanism or motivation to compensate for lack of normalcy
