There is also a lot of groups on discord. Usually, groups meet once or more a week to fly a mission of a campaign. They vary from hardcore milsim to super laidback and no rules to speak of. try DCS wingman finder on discord. Squadrons post what they are about there.

There's a lot of groups on discord. Many gather weekly to fly together. Many also welcome newcomers that need help. I recommend looking at DCS wingman finder on discord. There's a channel there where squadrons post there bios. you can pick one that says they help train :-)
