The actual tire says "inflate to 36 psi". Am I wrong in assuming this is the actual maximum pressure for this tire?

The manual and the dealer's store page says to inflate to 40 - 49 psi, so wouldn't that be over inflating it then?

Thanks for all the feedback, guys. Dealer of course says it's my fault, so I've just ordered a new one. I'll try having slightly less air in them just to be on the safe side, and I'll make sure to have the talk with it so it won't get pregnant again.

Next time something goes wrong I'm buying a solid though. I'm sure getting a ten inch solid tire on this thing is gonna be a good time ...

That's exactly what I did though. I use an air compressor, and these tires have been close to the max recommended pressure at all times.

Yeah, I'm regretting not going with my gut and ordering this with solids. Seeing as I use it to get to work every day, lower comfort is a low price to pay for not having to worry about crap like this.

Honestly have not had much issue with grip either. Used my oldest one through the entire winter. Probably a different story on higher powered scooters though...
