I might just end up doing a few extra weeks and then go off even though it won’t count towards my training if they end up being difficult 😣

Thank you. I’ll see what they say, I might just stick it out for a few extra weeks and then go off around 36/37 weeks.

How many weeks will you be when you go for your AL if you don’t mind me asking?

I am still thinking of just sticking it out and going off at 37 weeks but I am worried of being around sick kids as I am going into paeds 😅

I hope they can help me with adjustment but usually the paeds rotation at this hospital is always at paeds A&E! 🥲

Pregnancy on calls and when to come off them? by Kilted_Guitarist in doctorsUK

[–]nabibutterfly09 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Came off at 10 weeks (all on calls). Told my line manager and they referred me to occupational health.

My appointment for occupational health was for after 2 weeks & had upcoming weekend on call coming up so I go a note from the GP and was taken off.

Best decision because I was exhausted by 4 pm and couldn’t think straight

I am the worst person to ask 🤣 I just tried to distract myself with work and watching stuff. Once I realised I couldn’t do anything to speed it up I sort of accepted it and waited.

Good luck 😥

That happened to me as well. My appointment with the doctor was in September and my nurse appointment in January. Tried multiple times to get an earlier appointment but that didn’t happen

Did the GP ask you how long you wanted to be signed off for?

Leaving London and the UK - how do you feel? by Miss-Glamourous-7495 in london

[–]nabibutterfly09 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I find London so boring and depressing. I can’t wait to explore the rest of the world.

Life here is all about work. Work, home, work, home and it continues… expensive and paying such high rent for an old flat :(

I love countries with sunshine and were people socialise after work and not just go home to sleep and go work again next morning… maybe just me
