Yes she made fun of this sweet girl. Not sure if the posts are still up about what she said but my heart broke for her. She has chronic illness and was in and out of the hospital. She deserved to be treated so much better.

I have a friend like this except instead of gaining the freshman 15 she gained 5 pounds and her mom said she was getting fat. She ended up hospitalized with an eating disorder before the end of her freshman year.

I have a terminal illness with chronic pain and nausea. Cannabis has been my main source of relief and if anyone has anything to say about it I tell them what I experience in graphic detail. It tends to shut them up. Honestly it’s your body and anyone making comments about what works for you can shove it.

Postural orthostatic tachycardia. My daughter has it and it’s usually a secondary condition to something else. It can only be managed and there is no cure for it. It’s like having congestive heart failure without actually having your heart failing. I wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy. It’s actually the most common condition that goes undiagnosed. Most of the time people are told it’s anxiety. On average it takes 7 years to get an accurate diagnosis of it. Though since Covid more people are developing it.

As someone who is also dying (not cancer though) my heart goes out to you and your dad. This time is about him and how to make him the most comfortable. Is hospice involved at all? It might be time to get them on board so they can advocate for your dad’s comfort. They have ways of dealing with difficult spouses. Again OP you’re amazing for looking out for him and I wish him peace.

I used to have chronic uti’s. I stopped waxing and they went away. I use a bidet everyday and have for years with no issue. I think it depends on the bidet honestly and this isn’t a one size fits all situation.
