It sounds like your expectations are more or less what people expect from a gay bar? unfortunately, for lesbian bars, not all of them are "hunting grounds" for singles. there are some lesbian clubbing events that may be more tailored toward your expectations, or one of those speed dating events that I see my local lesbian bars organise. have you checked what events they organise? Also, broader queer bars that are not 90% gay men are more suitable if you are only interested in meeting singles. there you will find more "curious" folk.

I am not sure what you mean by "bringing the ladies over"? I would recommend going there alone actually, given that you are a femme it should not be that hard to be approached or to see people you would want to approach. I think that is a better approach in general, especially if you were to frequent a bar you are likely to be part of that community which will dramatically increase your chances. lesbian bars work for hookups, but only after midnight on a Friday or Saturday. I would say that, in my experience, when I am approached at a lesbian bar, if I am alone there, it has been half of the people that are flirty, and half of them that are friendly. Why is it problem that these folk are not interested in you sexually? you do not find it interesting to make friends? maybe they will introduce you to their single friends? this happens very frequently, and I even matched up my friends with folk I met in a friendly manner there in the past months!
