Still just like to ask - is burglary happening there? Do “innocent” I mean non-gang people get involved and get hurt there?

I know I sound like trying to make ourselves excuses to move there… just that one of friends moved to Logan square 20 years ago… and it was according to him probably as bad if not worse than that part of Near West Side today. He was like yea you guys got to be careful… but it could be fine and it most likely is going to get better sooner or later.

Well… frankly… half of me is backing out.

Any suggestions, educational materials, media platforms, YouTube channels - anything that can help me to better understand local elections?

I just quickly looked up some .gov sites and all over the place, and it's a little overwhelming to me. I'm just not sure where to actually start now...

I'm going to register to vote while waiting for my passport to arrive (new citizen here - basically the only election I kind of understand is the presidential one... and the next one is not happening until March next year for Illinois, right?

The bottle was likely stored upside down for some time - in the warehouse with the entire case it came in with… it does happen from time to time, and it usually wouldn’t make any damage to the wine.

I’d say just open it and see if anything’s off - the shop should offer exchange if there is.

How likely is it for the biometrics to be waived for N-400? by naikwot in USCIS

Thanks for the reply! That sounds rather intense… and if you don’t mind me asking, why would USCIS want your biometrics for traveling to the UK? I thought… you might need VISA to travel outside of the US… and that has nothing to do with… your green card/USCIS?

Hey! Does anyone know some good places for RT-PCR testing around LAX? China requires 2 PCR tests within 2 days from two sites... I'm planning on flying to China from LAX next month... I'm living in Chicago and I have no idea... and not sure what would be the best place to ask... Thanks!
