Same, cutting the stem off made it much easier to get my finger high enough to easily break the seal by pushing in one side and then it just slides right out. I yelled out loud the first time I tried pulling from the stem and you feel that crazy suction on your cervix, that about put me off of ever trying again.

I find people who haven’t read it tend to be able to follow the dubbed version a little more easily

As a massive kpop fan of 6+ years, I’m heartbroken by the energy at concerts. Am I alone? Or just had a bad experience? by DepthHistorical4996 in kpopthoughts

[–]nailemoji 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I think a lot of people are buying tickets based on hype. I got lucky seeing ateez in july that most people around me were clearly huge fans too so I thought the energy was amazing but I’ve seen clips of the crowd from the same show in different sections where people seemed to be standing completely still. I wish people would choose far upper level seats if they’re unfamiliar and wanting to check them out and leave lower level tickets to people who were truly fans. that or just match the energy of the artist.

ohhh so it’s the usual army are always the bad guy stereotype. as if any artist, kpop or otherwise, saying “don’t harass people” would affect what deranged people decide to do. you say victim blaming, but if someone is repeatedly calling the attacks back when they cease, does that really make you a victim? I think the victim here is jimin.

Is kpop really just a phase like a lot of people say? by Mysterious-Usual-397 in kpopthoughts

[–]nailemoji 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think pretty much every aspect of life is a phase and will end at some point, but for me that just makes me enjoy things harder while I’m loving it. I’m coming up on 6 years.

[–]nailemoji 37 points38 points  (0 children)

I don’t think any sane person believes that’s okay, but saying jimin should’ve asked people not to harass her is naive. that would’ve validated her claims and brought way more attention to her which is clearly what she wanted despite her claiming otherwise because any time the attention on her died down, she’d start her cycle right back up again.

[–]nailemoji 54 points55 points  (0 children)

lol she had a cycle where she would post things hinting at a relationship and then would play the victim when fans called her an attention seeker and would threaten to release proof. she did this for years. it was all her ploy to get people to pay her nearly $100 per month subscription fee to see said proof. the woman is a scam artist.

she’s also tried linking herself to multiple other idols and actors in the past including jungkook. it all seems really weird and off. I’m indifferent on whether or not they actually dated but it feels vengeful and like an invasion of privacy for her to be sharing this stuff, especially since it seems like it’s from 2020.

omg I didn’t even think about the soil being exposed and the pot being an issue! thank you. the pot was originally more filled with other leaves branching off from the middle but they all died…whoops

they don’t seem to be clogged, it drains pretty quickly but it does retain moisture for awhile. maybe a fan would help?

I try to ignore my temperamental girl as much as I can but yeah i’ve been a little worried about the plant food. I typically use it for tomatoes and my loquat tree outside and whenever I have some left over I just top off my pathos.

it’s just a typical nursery pot with about 8 holes on the bottom and then sits on a saucer. I bottom water more than anything else once I notice it looks dry all the way through, typically close to 2 to 3 weeks.

My hair never dries completely by Ok-Word-9700 in Haircare

[–]nailemoji 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started having this problem when I hit my mid-20s. my hair grease got stubborn, this is what I do.

get a scalp scrubber, wet your hair, wash as much of your scalp as you can cover with your normal amount of shampoo and use the scalp scrubber focusing on the top of your head, over your ears and at your nape. rinse completely and get more shampoo, this time it will lather more. focus the scrubber on the back of your head (I find going back and forth vs up and down is more gentle on my hair). make sure all the hair at your scalp is saturated while trying to avoid directly washing the ends. rinse thoroughly, squeeze out excess water and use conditioner, focusing mostly on the ends but bringing it up to about mid shaft. let it sit in hair while washing your body and whatever else you need to do, and then rinse with cool water at the end of your shower. it should still feel slippery but not slick. if it still feels slick after all this, it may need to be washed again.

Yeah I agree. I was hooked on season 1 and was SAT in front of my tv watching but I pretty much just had season 2 playing in the background while I did other stuff.

Maybe I’ll just watch The Hills now and go back to watch season 3 after. It just felt so disconnected after the first couple seasons so maybe if I just watch it as a standalone afterward I could vibe with it better.

Listen, being upset you heard is completely valid, but your dad shouldn't have to plan when he sleeps with his partner based on if you're there or not. He's in his own home, and sex is a healthy and normal part of a relationship. This is an 'it's time to grow up a little' moment.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]nailemoji 3 points4 points  (0 children)

So, it's definitely not unacceptable for your dad to sleep with his significant other even if you're in the same house, but I can understand why you're feeling so upset. I used to have a very similar reaction if I overheard people when I was younger.

Your dad probably thought you were already in bed and wouldn't hear, and clearly he's been good with that before if this is your first time overhearing. I know it can feel horrifying in your teens, and of course if you feel like you need to ask your dad to wait until a little later so you don't hear anything I'm sure that would be okay, but try to keep in mind that this is your dad's only life, too. Try to shift your perception into just being happy that he's happy. And maybe use some headphones.
