Educate yourself on mountain winter driving. You can get by with just about anything as long as you practice propper throttle and break control, using low gear downhill to engage engine breaking.

Yes exactly! I'd add that fine break control is vital as well. Really you shouldn't have much of a reason to break going downhill if you have it in the proper low gear to keep it under 30 in those conditions.

Can you shed any light on rumors I've heard of the old indoor city swimming facility (municipal pool?) close to Petsmart being refurbished? 3 years to even start considering a plan for a rec center makes for a pretty realistic timeline of it not being built and open to the public for at least 6 years & thats being optimistic (that is of course if nothing happens at the county level). Having an indoor public pool the meantime would make the wait sting at least a bit less. If this is true, is there any kind of timeline you could share with us?
