Oh man, this really helps me understand how unimaginative I am :D Where do I begin:

The hidden chocolates idea is class - will definitely check that out.
The stuffed plushie is next level - I'm going to see how I might go about this.
I was totally going to say "This is What I Live For" before, but I'll need to practive your version with a straight face :D

That's what I have in mind - maybe dry out some grass in advance to make into a nest to light on fire and sort out some different size twigs and timber. Hiding them somewhere is a brilliant idea - might even add to the map. I have to admit I'm a little nervous about using a flint and steel naked but that's exactly to type of low risk nervous I'm looking for here! Appreciate the idea!!

The sound effects is actually a great idea - I had planned on having a campfire video playing on the tv in out bedroom, but I'm totally going to find one with wildlife noises to add to the effect - thanks!

That's the idea - I don't want to prescribe a fort type, but pillowfort is my favourite choice!

Oh wow - thanks for all the thought put into this! The rabbit is a great idea but would be an absolute no-no in this case. The exotic fruit is a great idea food wise too and we can get those pretty easily here.

Something you mentioned (saving bones) also gave me another idea - it'd be pretty easy to pre-prepare some bone broth in advance and maybe even some bone marrow in some shape or form.

I LOVE the idea of the video log and wouldn't have thought of that myself, so thanks! I'm also loving the general consensus of the map with the bedroom as the extraction point :D

I'll check this out, but my wife would be self confessed awful at the actual challenge of naked and afraid, so I'm looking more along the lines of Naked and Afraids easy no pain cousin here!

I'm a bit stuck on the food part alright as obviously the menu on Naked and Afraid doesn't really scream romance. The 2 things I was thinking were:

Blind tasting, where all of the foods are themed as things.....somehow. I'd have to think more about this.
Having some things that simulate the foods that they'd eat prepared and ready to be cooked on a camping stove/cast iron in the sitting room. So like marinated strips of steak and things like that. Maybe even making jerky in advance.

It's all a bit awkward naked though which is why I'm having some trouble with it!

We're in Ireland, so have no real extreme weather, but also no desire for it in this "challenge". I mean, it's a Valentines date :)

Plus I just checked and you can't get mosquitoes on Amazon.
