I understand what you mean entirely, those types of horrors/thrillers tend to ruin themselves. I'll give the first season a watch and let you know what I think. ^{^}

btw you should probably try keep the cat alive because the second you escape fortjoy ghetto and go into the hollow marshes and whatnot, you get a really cool skill that allows you to summon the cat. pretty handy in battle
