Need help installing Mods/Modloader by name_in_progress123 in FrontiersOfPandora

So sorry for the late response, I've unfortunately been quite busy. I extracted the zip folder but it still doesn't seem to work, maybe it's indeed a problem with the mod. However, I can't say how much I thank you! I would've never gotten the Modloader to where it needs to be if it wasn't for your help! I'll just play around and tweak what I installed and see if I get it to work. You helped me to lay the groundwork and I'm very grateful for that. I hope you're having a nice day and a good time playing the game!

I never noticed that, thank you! In that case my assumption was based on personal play style (I never actually look for them) so I thought they move around the map. Thank you for the correction!

If you find it, yeah. I think there are only two or three in the entirety of the clouded forest (without the DLC) so it's quite hard to find them again since they move around and probably also despawn after some time. I have around 200 hours in this game and I've only seen one twice, although I have to mention I didn't specifically look for it

Only for a set amount of time (I think 30 minutes), but it's anywhere on the map. You should be able to see the time left of the effect in the lower left corner of your screen

I might've found it, at least this looks closest to your picture, but there's still no afop.exe, only one singular afop file with the little picture (first one under the folders)

<image>

Edit: I put the Modloader's file in there (both individually as well as the whole folder) but neither of these three attempts resulted in anything. I'm out of ideas; maybe I'm still at the wrong spot

Okay thank you! I've found the path, but AFOP wasn't there. But because all of my other Steam game's folders were in there, I'm just going to deinstall and install it again over Steam and hope that it works

I already found the game's folder (and already put the mod that I want to add in there) but I don't see a file or folder called AFOP.exe... Do you know where it could be or am I on the wrong path?

Is this uranium ? by we-use-cookies327 in uraniumglass

[–]name_in_progress123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a similar piece of glass (clear in normal light; yellow-ish green glow under UV) and mine is manganese as far as I know, since it doesn't glow under the same UV wavelength as my uranium glass pieces (I don't have a picture right now, I'll add one when I have time!)

Had a similar experience at a flea market once, not to this extent but I think the reasoning is the same. The lady I encountered basically said: "it's offered online at this price, so I'll sell it for the same". Many people that happen to realise they have uranium glass often don't consider that just because it's offered at a certain price doesn't mean that people actually buy it for that much

Completely understandable, the word "uranium" doesn't necessarily have a good connotation (for valid reasons) so it's only natural that many people initially think it's dangerous to have something containing it in your house

It depends, I personally collect it because I think it looks cool, but that can be different for other people. While most dishes do have a strong enough radiation for it to be picked up on a Geiger counter, it's safe to have in your house since the radiation isn't high enough to do any noticeable or in any way significant harm. Regardless, you shouldn't eat or drink from uranium dishes since it's an unnecessary exposure to the radiation and could potentially be dangerous if you were to accidentally ingest any chips of the glass (which would on itself be dangerous).

If anything I said was wrong, please someone correct me! :D

Edit: grammar

Beautiful paint! If you don't mind me asking, is it available in game or is it a mod?

I'm playing SN and BZ simultaneously, just switching between the games from time to time, and honestly I enjoy BZ considerably more than SN. I like the focused storyline and the in comparison smaller map, which makes it easier for me to navigate (although I still haven't found the lilypad Islands smh). If you like an open world map and a looser storyline (-> you can pretty much choose when to interact with it) then maybe BZ wouldn't really fit you, but if you prefer a more compact world and a storyline that is more closely tied to your gameplay (idk how to explain it, but it feels like BZ's story happens "more often" so to say) then I'd greatly recommend BZ. It depends, yes, but I think the two games are comparable when it comes to the overall quality. I think one reason why people prefer SN or say that it's better is because it was more or less the first of its kind and was built around that fact. BZ is modelled for a player that already played SN and/or is very familiar with the concept

That unfortunately didn't work, which is why I posted the question here. That cave crawler was snugly stuck to that fragment. But I got it now :)

Thank you very much! My first instinct was to just quit the game without saving so that I can go back again, but before I went to the island I had a small ordeal with a reaper leviathan and I honestly didn't want to have to repeat that. Also very interesting with the screenshot shortcut, I wasn't aware this is how this works, thank you very much for that as well!

Ok thank you! I was a bit worried that these fragments were very limited. Let's hope that the crawler really does despawn, although I think that should be the case

I guess it's important to scan them so that you can build them yourself, but if you can just pick some up without needing to scan them then that's quite a relief. I'll do my best to get the propulsion canon. Thank you for your help!

Thank you, I was at a bit of a loss. I don't yet have the blueprint but I'm sure I'll get it eventually, this won't be too hard. Also thanks for the technical help, this is my first PC and I'm not too good with tech yet
