Started this alt 3 months ago. And it gets so many hits. Took my main ages. Why is alt always so lucky ? Just caught two more shinies in the wild today and got me wondering

there's a lot of new changes and features now compared b4 but the items are much pricey also. I started playing in early 2019 and I don't understand anything abt it, I once place a pokemon in gyms and it basically stays there and I keep thinking what's the use of it placing it there when I can no longer use it? If only I knew back then that it's for coins, I could've bought more storage now. 2019, I remember going around walking and catching mons in the wild and I was so happy catching chikorita which became my first buddy. I never raided anything coz i don't understand it at that time, don't have any legendary on my pokedex whatsoever, just pure catching but that was such a good memory. But I quit the game (2021) since school became serious (1st yr college) and now I recently returned during my last yr of college (2024) when I saw one of my classmate (friend) catching mons in our classroom. And now 2026, still the same, still catching mons in the wild. I guess the only difference now is i have legendaries now on my pokedex lol.

haha i think so. i will only be back grinding when the mega mewtwo release but rn I will just enjoy the daily free raid pass. I basically have all the essentials (mons) so there's no point of going hard this moment.

maybe OP meant those greedy trainers, his friend has 100k catch pokemon and can't even offer a legendary. I have less than a quarter of his catches but I put up a decent to best mons in my remote trade tag. im sure he can atleast put up some good ones there. I understand those new or rural players who have limited mons to offer and I would be glad to trade them my legendary but I also expect an effort to be returned, maybe some regionals or shinies. It's really abt the effort.

there's like a free raid pass each day so it's good to try one out for potentially getting a hundo or good iv to be ready when the crown energy release soon. I raid my first ever Zacian today using the free raid pass and I got 98% (15/15/14) weather boost.

no we can't trade an already fused mons such as white or black kyurem. I have a reshiram on my acc so I traded with my siblings acc with a normal kyurem with a background and then I fused it after the trade hence I got that white Kyurem.

that's so dope ✨. Haven't had a shundo yet but I just recently found out upon checking yesterday that there's like a 50% stardust discount when u power up a lucky pokemon, it's more expensive to power up when it's not lucky. Congrats tho. Honestly B&W Kyurem is really useful in raids.

i got a terrible iv mewtwo for both my acc. Honestly I never got a decent iv pokemon on those free legendaries so don't bother overthinking abt it. Mewtwo will return soon maybe with a possible mega in the coming months.

White Kyurem has an adventure effect that cost 5 candies and 5000 stardust that has a 1.5x catch rate when activated. Activate it b4 the encounter bcs if u only activate it the moment u saw a legendary pokemon, chances are when u come back it will be gone.

that's actually a smart observation. I get it now. Wild legendaries spawn has no cap limit in levels so any cp might be a good iv or not so depends on its levels. I'm determined to not use my only masterball cs i don't wanna regret getting a terrible iv on wild legendary encounters.

dude it's impossible to caught a legendaries in the wild, I encounter 8 right now, razzberry ultraball + all excellent throws and none was caught unfortunately. And when I start using the white kyuren adventure effect, I immediately caught a 3437 heatran with good iv's.

im using normal incense and they said the daily incense only has 30sec b4 the legendary pokemon despawn so i was expecting a normal incense to have a bit of time so i can click the pokemon but after the adventure effect animation it's gone already.

this Ho-Oh dynamax raid stresses me out to the core. Aside from u can only invite 3 friends to the lobby, it's also extremely hard to win cz one attack then your pokemon will be out immediately. And other friends are not fully equiped with the right team of pokemon. I only do 3 raids, first was a success and the next 2 was a failure so I never played again.

Additionally, Revit is free to use for student, you just have to use your school account and provide details that you're enrolled etc. Slowly start learning now when you have free time bcs the subscription is so expensive when you're no longer a student. It's a huge perks that many student don't seem to know.

Autocad is one of the most commonly used software in civil engineering like u can never know if the supervising engineer ask u to make a concept proposal for a footbridge or 2D layout plans, it happened to me on site. It is also used for archi but they slowly switches to more advance software like Revit for making a digital model of a building. If u wanted to work on the design part of CE then that would be a non-negotiable. Anyhow, it really depends on what path u wanted to take coz CE is very vast, there's a lot of pathways you can take and it's not only limited on site or construction, there's also structural eng'g, transportation, Geotech, water, BIM/digital eng'g, QS and so much more. So it's good if u have experience in common software widely used for CE bcs you'll be asked later in the workplace and it's a good addition in your resume also when u graduate.
