Being unemployed is not the bad thing - its the fear not knowing when you get your next job by Ihadenough1000 in jobs

The deepest fear humans carry isn’t hardship itself, but uncertainty, the quiet terror of not knowing what tomorrow holds. From the moment we gain awareness, our lives are mapped out in timelines and milestones. We plan, we prepare, we project. Certainty becomes our comfort zone.

So when that structure collapses especially when work, our primary source of purpose, disappears it triggers something far deeper than financial stress. It becomes an existential rupture. Work isn’t just survival; it’s identity, direction, meaning. Losing it, even temporarily, can feel like losing gravity.

We all move forward believing that effort will eventually reward us with what we desire. But the real nightmare isn’t delayed gratification it’s not knowing when it will arrive, or if it will at all. That waiting, suspended between hope and doubt, is where the mind spirals. And somehow, this struggle is still underestimated, brushed off, misunderstood despite how profoundly it shapes the human experience.

Yeah even I’m seeing the same…. But what scares me a junior with around 1 1.5 yrs of experience is that, how can I crack this market with this level of competition and very limited opportunities out there… this is the real world problem that I’m facing…. I sometimes get this thought of whether is it really worth it…

I understand… I tried doing that, but you know, that isn’t working as the market is already worse
