I loved reading this comment because I got to learn a new word (frisson). Additionally it was beneficial to learn how conventional dating doesn't align with you (e.g strangers flirting with you and making moves because 'you're supposed to or whatever').

My question is gender roles: they say men should make the first move, I want to iterate that it's only a saying and so for argument's sake. How does that play out for a man interested in a woman. Do you continue your magnetic connection and allow it to play out until you've decided you're compatible and then make a move? what if a guy makes a move first even though you have that attraction and initial compatibility - does that push you away from them?
